For some,
It takes the form of,
a cup of black coffee,
Drowning in its scintillating,
Effect.
Knowing,
Without a doubt,
Today will be okay.
The act of,
Staring at the face,
Looking back from the glass,
And re-affirming the statement,
Today, I can.
For some,
It takes-
a little more tears,
A lot more prayer,
An occasional day off,
To feel slightly better.
And sometimes,
Putting on a mask,
Which looks like a smiley,
And says the words “I’m fine”,
Is as close as it gets.
Everyone mask at times. It’s good too

I wouldn’t want everyone knowing everything, so yeah, at times the mask is a necessity.

True. And relatable.
May Allah just bless us all with the ability to smile at that cup of coffee and start are days motivated like that…

This sounds like a rough day. We all have them I guess. Some more than others.
I’ve written about masks before myself Ameena. Some people wear them continually.
Hope you’re having a nice day.
🙂 ❤

Mostly ends with ‘I am fine’ for many.
You have put this nicely.
