My star-

My star-

IMG_1889.JPG

There’s the sun in the sky,
A showstopper of it’s own runway,
Irrespective of the clouds.

There’s the moon at night,
A star amidst the stars around,
Unmatched in its might.

There are the trees and the
Exotic birds perched amongst them;
There’s the ocean with its waves
Rising then falling like a rollercoaster play;

There are the mountains,
With their peaks decorated with snows,
There are the valleys,
With water beautifying their body,

And there’s You.
You gush about the universe ,
And the beauty it encompasses;
All I gush about is- You.
They are your stars,
You are my star.

Circle of deeds-

Circle of deeds-

I don’t know you, he said
But I know you, she smiled
And he remembered her face,
From a chemistry class;
Where they’d tricked the new girl,
Into falling for a plan,
And appearing their fool,
For the pleasure of a while.
His faced turned deep red,
As the new girl spoke on,
Her name was Ariana,
One, he never got to ask.
For the new girl departed,
From the school after that;
And they dumped her memory
At the back of their minds.

But the deeds that you do,
Circle right back to you;
For the universe revolves,
With our sins and our goods;
It takes 365 days,
For a revolution to occur,
It might take longer moments
But our deeds get back at us.

All that you can be-

All that you can be-

If there’s one thing I must say
Before I leave this earth, it’s this-
That the universe is large enough,
For all that you can be;
And never let a shadow cast,
It’s darkness on your dream;
Or the one who’s lived more decades,
Determine who you must be .
For my darling, life’s your ocean,
So sail it how you see fit;
They may say the tides too high,
But you’re the sailor of your ship.

Of her mind-

Of her mind-

image

She had the most beautiful mind,
A galaxy of infinite stars
In the form of thoughts-
Swirling around,
In her brain’s sulci and gyri-
I wonder,
I just wonder
How one creation could hold
So much genuine-
Creativity
Passion
Intensity
With profound humility.

And she’d smile, bashful
Waving off compliment;
Lower her gaze hiding,
Those caramel eyes- behind
geeky glasses.
And I wish,
Oh I wish,
She could see the view
From where I stand.
She watches the universe
Admiring it’s beauty-
Fade to black
Grow into light
Day and night;
But she,
She holds the most beautiful
Universe-
In that mind of hers.

At dawn-

At dawn-

image

It was all she could-
To wake up at dawn,
Pray to her lord;
Listen to the sound
Of the universe,
Interacting with birds
And their melodic voice.

It was all she could-
With a coffee In hand,
Type a few words;
Gaze at the humans
In a hurry to what?
She wondered…
Their faces,
Filled not with Joy.

It was all she could do-
To wake up at dawn,
Stay strong for a while
Before over taken,
And stressed beyond bounds.
It was all she could do-
To breathe, to truly
Live while she can.

p.s: I know I’ve written about “being all you can” already this week, but for some reason, that’s what is inspiring me lately. Also, I’m on a trip this week, with not so good internet connection so I might not be able to read all your lovely posts. But will try as much 🙂

The universe raged-

The universe raged-

image

The waves raged,
Against the shore;
The earth crackled,
To exult it’s force;
Thunder roaring,
At crack of light;
The universe in uproar,
At your demise.

They raged for you-
Your light, dimmed;
Growling fiercely,
In different manners;
I pled to you,
rage against death;
The universe answered,
And raged instead.

The wind howled,
Tree leaves shuddered;
Rain fall splattered,
In angry retort;
The universe begged
For you to fight;
A final glance,
I knew you were gone.
The universe roared…

The Blame game-

The Blame game-

image

It reaches a point,
Where it does need to flow;
But we bottle and lock up,
Restraining it’s zone;
And life keeps hinting at us,
To go with right, the rest- ignore;
But man is picky and choosy,
we go with what we want.

We think desires and needs,
Are two colors on a bee;
And wants are part of necessities,
Which must be fulfilled;
So dusk departs while day arrives,
We find our lives at standstill;
And blame the rest of the universe,
Remaining sin-free.

The things made so easy,
Yet we burden ourselves;
Beyond means of living,
we always crave what other’s got;
And when the tears come running,
We bottle up; throw the lock;
Staying stuck in the cycle-
We blame the world,
And progress not.
Forgetting life’s tough enough,
Without the extra burdening.
