On reflections…

I’ve loved and I’ve lost,
I’ve been hurt and I’ve hurt;
Tears have marked their place
On my sheet,
Nights have worsened the pains
I feel;
And through the process-
Of love and healing,
Of hurt and seeking,
Revenge or redemption,
A part of me
Has stayed, static.
The part that knows-
I’ve learned through ills,
And grown from pieces.

    1. Oh my!!! You know, I haven’t been seeing your posts on my reader since the poetry201 and I thought you had taken a break. I just checked your page today to makesure and saw that I had accidentally unfollowed you. Ahhhhh, so frustrating because I didnt even know. I have missed your posts! just followed you back.

      1. That happened to me with two/three persons. I think it is a WordPress because I saw a post on another blogger several weeks ago and many bloggers experienced the same thing. It is sweet when someome misses your writing.Welcome back :).

  11. I really like this. But above all what really proved to me by this peace that you have learned and grown is no singl line blames another person or entity for your hurts or disappointments. That really stood out for me. Good job.
