“Allison, get dressed. We’re going to the station”, Richard ordered. She looked up to see her father, dressed in a black suit with a suitcase in hand, all ready for business.
“You mean police station?”, Allison questioned, wondering what on earth they were going to do at the precinct.
“Okay, I need you to be calm and listen to me carefully”. Richard said, wearing a grim expression.
“I just got a call from the precinct informing me that you’re wanted for questioning, regarding an art theft.” He paused for a moment to let the bombshell he had just dropped sink in. Allison glared at him and before she could open her mouth to retort, he continued.
“That’s not all. It’s not just any art, but the antique Madame Trousoule painting of the tropical kabaski Island and they’ve got evidence supporting their claim”.
“But- That’s ridiculous!” Allison exclaimed. She could feel her pulse rising and her heart pounding in her chest.
“I know, and that’s why we are going to clear your name. I just need you to trust me.”

Oh no! I wonder if they are going to be able to clear Allison from the art theft? Personally, I think her father will make sure of that. Great story Ameena! You are very good at writing fiction!

Thank you so much for the compliment PJ, I’m just learning tho 😉 . Yeah I agree, with a lawyer like Richard Blake, the detectives should have a tough time.

NO don’t trust him Allison, its a trap!! This is all that other guy’s fault, he is framing her isn’t he and he is bribing Allison’s Dad with the money that was talked about in your last part, what was it $50.000. Actually that bad guy probably works as a cop and that’s how he could do this! Ok, I will stop! Sorry! See this is what happens when I get involved in a story I try to guess what is going to happen and this is like a book, cause its that good! So keep writing!

Hahaha, Oh mY!!! 😀 😀 it never occurred to me about the while bribing scheme, now I wish I had thought of that, it’d have been really intriguing! Haha, I actually have no idea where the story is headed until I see the next prompts. So we are both waiting to see what happens next 😀

Hmm, Richard always seems to be saying “trust me.” Does that mean we shouldn’t trust him??

Hahaha, now that is an angle I should work on. I didn’t realize that he kept saying it, until I read your comment :D.

Well, so far I’d say that Allison seems innocent in this. But seems doen’t mean she definitely is! Next episode required now … 🙂
